The US box office has suffered another slow and low grossing weekend.
In first was War Room, the Christian fan base has come out in droves for this film which has made it out perform predictions for the second weekend in a row. War Room scored an estimated $9.3 million which is enough for first.
In second was Straight Outta Compton, which was bumped out of first place after enjoying a three-week stint there. Straight Outta Compton made an estimated $8.8 million.
In third was new release A Walk in the Woods, which opened Wednesday and has made $10 million plus including this weekends cume since then. A Walk in the Woods made $8.4 million for the weekend.
In fourth was Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation still hanging around the top 5 making $7.1 million. And rounding out the top 5 was the other new release The Transporter: Refueled making $7.1 million.
- War Room- $9.3 million.
- Straight Outta Compton- $8.8 million.
- A Walk In The Woods- $8.4 million.
- Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation- $7.1 million.
- The Transporter: Refueled- $7.1 million.
In terms of my predictions I got 3/5. I got 2nd, 3rd and 4th right but had War Room and Transporter mixed up. I didn’t expect War Room to do that good and I thought Transporter would have a nice audience.
