After ruling the box office for 4 weeks Star Wars: The Force Awakens has finally given up its crown, dropping down to 3rd.

In first was Ride Along 2, enjoying a solid debut this weekend, taking in an estimated $34 million. This isn’t as much as the first Ride Along made 2 years ago but Ride Along 2 has much more competition and comedy sequels don’t normally do so well.

In second was The Revenant, holding its spot from last weekend and leap frogging The Force Awakens thanks to its Golden Globes wins and Oscar nominations taking in $29.5 million.

In third was Star Wars: The Force Awakens enjoying a solid 5th weekend gross of $25.1 million. In fourth was 13 Hours, directed by Michael Bay pulling in an estimated $16 million. And rounding out the top 5 was Daddy’s Home with an estimated $9.3 million.
